As a chairperson of the SBFC2023 Organizing Committee, it is a pleasure for me to welcome you to the 1^st Somali Banking and Finance Conference which will be held from 21-22, February 2023 in the Capital City of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mogadishu.

The Somali Banking and Finance Conference is an annual conference organized by the Somali Bankers Association (SBA), The two-day event will host more than 200 national and international participants, key government stakeholders, directors and officers from SBA members, policymakers, bankers, financial service providers, insurance companies, technology providers, microfinance institutions, fintech & mobile banking entities, academicians, and many more to discuss and set a strategic road map for Somalia’s fast-growing Islamic banking and finance sector.
